Next September 27th and 28th, Alfama will be filled with even more fado for the Festival that has already conquered the public’s heart, celebrating this portuguese Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The various stages of Caixa Alfama Festival are spread throughout one of Lisbon’s most traditional and iconic neighborhoods, creating the feeling that fado can happen in any street, alley, or square… inviting the audience to touch the portuguese soul, while wandering through a neighborhood full of fado stories.

To enter the different festival venues, the ticket (for 1 or 2 days of the festival) must be exchanged for a bracelet, placed by the Festival organization, next to Fado Museum.
